“As ICCA continues to lead the business events industry forward, these Congresses will provide powerful platforms for collaboration, transformation, business opportunities for members and shared growth.
“We are incredibly excited for the journey ahead. Each Congress offers a unique opportunity for our community to unite, exchange ideas, and shape the future of our industry. Kigali and Muscat will help us elevate our global conversations to new heights.”
Janet Karemera, CEO of Rwanda Convention Bureau, said it will be an honour to welcome the global association community back to Africa for the first time in twenty years.
Muscat will host the ICCA Congress in 2028.
“This historic occasion reflects the continent’s growing prominence and leadership within the international MICE industry,” she said.
“Made possible through the steadfast support of our partners and stakeholders, both local and regional, this milestone provides an important opportunity to offer distinguished experiences and to present, not only Rwanda’s capabilities but also the collective strength and potential of our regional partners.”
