The news about President Paul Kagame’s arrival in Belgium by next week, spread quickly within the Rwandan Community of Belgium and Europe. An effervescence has seized all the members of the Diaspora because the community wants to organize and ensure him a warm welcome.

It is true that it has been observed that since the liberation of Rwanda by the Rwandan Patriotic Front, led by President Kagame, there is more than a complicity but a symbiosis between him and the Rwandans in the country as well as in the Diaspora

The Rwandan Community are planning a mega demonstration at place called Tour and Taxis Avenue where there will be also the annual European Development Days meeting. To attend this demonstration, you have to register to this address: Cette adresse e-mail est protégée contre les robots spammeurs. Vous devez activer le JavaScript pour la visualiser..
There is a hope that the participants will have opportunity to meet the President as he used to do when he is visiting a foreign country.
The ambassador of Rwanda in Belgium, wrote in his twitter account that: "the Rwandan Diaspora of Belgium welcomes the President of the Republic to Brussels. It's Wednesday June 7, 2017 at 9:00."

On this occasion, a member of the Diaspora community in Belgium, Innocent Nshimiyimana, has addressed an open letter to the president wishing him welcom:
“Dear My President, Rwandans residing in Belgium wish to express our happiness and excitement of once more welcoming you!
The delighted and heart-warming expression, the soul-stirring and only Rwandan smiles exuberating from the Belgium Diaspora here present, is the characteristic of our appreciation and love we always display to you and will continue to display on these foreign lands we live in. Your Excellence, Our Rwandan Community in Belgium, together with all other Rwandan-European Diasporas Communities, we wholeheartedly are welcoming you to Belgium!!!

We are reaffirming that, on the historical date of "3/8/2017", here in Belgium, we will be ready for the wedding celebration and the bride we are choosing is no other than you!
                                                                  Karibu sana Your Excellency!!!”
