RWANDA DELIVERS FOOD, MEDICAL AID TO GAZA

The Rwandan government announced on Thursday that the country has delivered two shipments of humanitarian aid destined for Palestinians in Gaza.

A statement by the Office of the Government Spokesperson said the humanitarian aid was received in Amman by the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization.

« Similar to previous shipments, this week’s deliveries of 40 tons of food supplies and medical supplies are a contribution to the ongoing international relief efforts, » the statement said.

Israel launched its offensive on Oct. 7, 2023, following a Hamas-led attack that killed about 1,200 people and saw 250 taken hostage. According to authorities in Gaza, at least 57,680 people have been killed since the start of the war.
